Operational command and HICS Roles

Development version 26.35.00 introduces the first HICSNow operational-command workflows and facility-specific HICS Role assignments.

Highlights​

  • Review a shared Incident Overview with immediate priorities, objectives, activity, command structure, readiness, and an hourly operational timeline.
  • See the remaining time and elapsed progress for the current operational period.
  • Hover over or select a timeline marker to review its standard activity detail without shifting the page.
  • Open IAP Quick Start as the first form under Forms and review the combined HICS 201, 202, 203, 204, and 215A information structure.
  • Use section-specific guidance while preparing the IAP Quick Start.
  • Maintain the HICS Roles assigned to a user at each facility.
  • Preserve the HICS reporting hierarchy while selecting roles.
  • Record HICS Role changes in audit history.

The Incident Overview currently displays example operational information, and the IAP Quick Start does not yet save or distribute entered data. These workflows will be connected to persistent incident records in a future release.
