26.49.01 - Secure Connections and Workspace Sign-In

Development version 26.49.01 strengthens connection security and corrects the workspace-selection destination used after universal login.

Highlights​

  • HICSNow now requires TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3 for application connections. Current supported browsers and mobile devices use these secure connection versions automatically.
  • Users with access to more than one organization continue to select a Facility workspace after entering their credentials on the universal login page.
  • Opening the selected workspace now consistently keeps the user on the authorized HICSNow organization address.
  • Organization-specific login, session handling, permissions, and account credentials are unchanged.
  • No administrator action or configuration change is required.
If a device cannot connect

Update the browser and operating system, then try again. If a current browser still cannot open HICSNow, contact your organization's support contact.
